TECHING SPECIFICATIONS OF SHAKT1 HIGH MASTS
MAST BODY :
The SHAKTI high mast in manufactured from MS Plates confirming to IS 2062- 1992. The mast body consists telescopic sections each of 6.0 mtr. Length Each section is formed in polygonal cross-section to give continuous tapered profile. Bottom section has a base plat welded to it for anchoring the mast to a reinforced cement concrete foundation. Gussets are also provided to strengthen base plate to mast body. All sections of the mast are hot dip galvanized with minimum thickness of coating being approximately 75 microns, confirming to IS 4759-1984.

The design of SHAKTI high mast is done considering the effect of wind pressure throughout The must including Projected area of luminaries. All the sections of SHAKTI high mast and Top head are assembled at site by application of stress and vibration using strain roads.
TOP HEAD :
It is fitted at the top of the SHAKTI High Mast using stainless Steel fasteners and the body is hot dip galvanized. It accommodate two or more LM6 pulleys to carry wire rope and cable. The construction ensures that wire rope does not jump out of grooves. Pulleye are fitted with self lubricating DU bushes and are mounted on stainless steel axles retained-by stainless steel pins. The top head of SHAKTI High Mast is covered using a galvanized steel cover.
LANTERN CARRIAGE:
Lantern carriage system of SHAKT I High Mast is designed to accommodate 6 to 12 Nos. luminaries on the carriage ring. More luminaries accommodation can be done whenever There is such demand by our client, Lantern carriage is made from heavy steel tubes and arms are provided for mounting luminaries. The assembly is made r two halves with flange for ease of installation.

Rai:6er strip is provided on the inner side of the carriage ring to prevent the scralicting of the carriage with Mast body during raising/lowering operation. Illlo—over. provisions are made in lantern carriage of SHAKTI High Mast. which facira:es balancing of stabc load, which is sometimes dissimilar in nature.
WINCH ASSEMBLE:
The specially designed which consists of a drum fabricated from steel pipe with machined grooved and a reduction gear set in one unit. The reduction gear set in one unit is worm and worm wheel type which has a backstopping tendency while not operation.

The safe working capacity of the winch assembly of SHAKTI High Mast is 30 kgs. For 12 Mts. City Light Mast and 750 kgs. For High Masts. The winch assembly is mounted inside the SHAKTI High Mast at a sufficient spacing from the door.

The winch can be removed from the door if required during maintenance. The winch can be Operated either manually by hand or using a geared electric motor with torque limiter.
WIRE ROPE:
In SHAKTI High Mast there are two sets of 6.0mm dia rope stainless steel wire rope. The design is such that entanglement of wire rope with cable does not during either windy conditions or raising/lowering operation.
CONTROL PANEL BOX:
It is a box fabricated form M.S. Sheet and suitably painted. It accommodates :
  • Terminal for incoming line
  • Terminal for outgoing line.
  • Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB) for luminaries.
  • Time switch for automatic operation luminaries.
  • Contractors for supply of luminaries for geared motor.
  • Suitable HRC fuse links with fuse carriers.
